Blogging the Caine Prize


As from this Friday a group of bloggers are going to be reading, blogging and cross-posting the stories nominated for the Caine Prize for African Writing.

last year I think I may have been the only book blogger to post on the Caine Prize Stories-I thought "Stick Fighting Days" was really well done-I will post on the first 2011 story very soon-we should see who can pick the winner!

That's a good idea - I wouldn't put my money on the Ugandan and Zimbabwe stories though. I never blogged the stories last year, but doing it collectively has been a good experience. All the different persepctives provide valuable insight.

maybe we can see if we can somehow get everyone blogging on all the stories to pic their winner-I read the Zimbabwe story this morning-I will read it once more then post on it-
