So Fifa's decided to put out an album for this World Cup and as history goes World Cup album's are never really much to rave about and this is yet another to the collection, only better. As with past efforts, it does have some crap trax (Shakira) and some plus trax: Kells (USA) with the Soweto Spiritual Choir (SA) and Nneka's (Nigeria), Viva Africa along with Matisyahu (USA) feat. Nameless (Kenya) on a remix of Matisyahu's One Day. I was hoping to see Knaan on the list, but alas Wavin' Flag belongs to Coca $ Cola. Other artists on this album are Pitbull (USA/Cuba) in collabo with Tkzee (SA) and Dario G (UK?) on a track called Game On. They tried...I tried, but nah I nah feel it. Lira (SA) does As Mascara with Cláudia Leitte (Brazil), a laid back urban house groove that kinda loses it btwn 2:34-2:40 (???). Otherwise, nice to hear isiXhosa coming through with the Portuguese.
